Sinopec Qingdao Refining & Chemical sold three cargoes of LPG totalling 4,600 tonnes by barge in the week ended 13 July, up by 1,000 tonnes from the previous week, according to ICIS C1 research.
The company recorded normal sales of LPG both by barge and truck in the past week, with no inventory pressure, a company source said.
It pegged its LPG posting price at yuan (CNY) 5,500/tonne on Friday, up by CNY200/tonne from a week earlier, according to the source.
Its LPG output is stable at 1,100 tonnes/day currently, versus the normal level of 1,800 tonnes/day.
Located at Qingdao city in Shandong province, Qingdao Refining & Chemical has a crude processing capacity of 10m tonnes/year. It supplies about half of its LPG to south China and east China's Zhejiang province by barge.
